24. (i) Uses of amino acid in our body:- Synthesized into protein to build new cells, to replace worn out cells and to form such body regulators as hormones, enzymes, antibodies and vitamins

Careful planning is a must. Furniture should be kept in the minimum. Living room is partitioned off from dinning room by a large wooden partition with shelves on either side. Accessories, books etc. Placed on the shelf facing the living rooms whereas Crochery, Cutlery and other equipments are placed on the other side. Living rooms is converted into a bedroom at night and dining room into study room.

The child should be undressed. Only a light sheet or light blanket should be used for covering him. Only a part of his body should be exposed at a time and should be rubbed for few minutes by using a wet towel. Turn by turn arms, legs, chest and back should be rubbed by the wet towel. The purpose of the wet rub is to bring the blood to the surface by rubbing and to co,.-1 it by the evaporation of the water off the skin.

(i)  Enzyme: -Action of enzyme in plants and animal food change food composition. Continued action of enzyme renders food inedible
(ii) Micro-organisms :- Bacteria, Yeasts, Moulds-Bacterial spoilage causes sour teste, off flavour. Yeast cause fermentation sugars present in the food are broken up to form alchohol and carbon dioxide
(iii)  Insects:- Insects cause food spoilage directly by eating the kernels and destroying the structures and containers Indirectly assist in the dissemination of moulds, micro-organisms including the harmful germs.
(iv) Temperature:- Damage foods either directly by changing physical state or indirectly by accelerating the activity of enzymes and bacteria 
(v) Moisture :-Perishable food get spoilt faster than semiperishable and non-perishable foods -the difference is their water content.
(vi) Light :- Accelerates rancidity in fate and vitamin foods.
(vii) Air :-Oxygen in the air increases rate of development of rancidity causes unpleasant flavours, harmful chemical changes.

30.  Principles underlying proper flower arrangement:-
(i) Harmony-Harmony of the flowers container and the setting.
(ii) Balance-Semi formal, Informal or formal.

(ii) Soap-Soap flake and soap fluid -should not contain much alkali.
(iii) Sleeping :- Doesn’t require steeping, soiled white and pale coloured cloth may be steeped in warm water for a few minutes.
(iv)  Process of cleaning :-Kneading and squeezing or by section washing, Soiled parts rubbed with additional lather. Very soiled-addition of little amount of borax or ammonia-Avoid friction.
(v) Rinsing :-Rinsed twice or thrice in warm water. Last rinse in cold water. Stiffening :- Stiffened by final cold rinse. Extra stiffness-addition of gum water in the final rinse.
(vi) Drying :- in the shade
(c) Finishing-
(i)  Iron when evenly damp-warm Iron.
(ii) Airing :-after ironing before they stored to remove the heat left from ironing.
