DURATION OF COURSE:

Four Academic Years Degree Course comprising two semesters of a minimum of 16 weeks. A student of the BE degree Course must complete the course within eight years from the date of first admission to the First Year of the Course.

 ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY:

                              i.               Passed HSSLC (10+2) examination of the Council of Higher Education, Manipur or recognised by Manipur University as its equivalent with at least 50% marks in the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for general candidates. A relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates.

                             ii.               Candidate shall have completed 17 years of age and not beyond the age of 22 years on the 1st July of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, relaxation of upper age to 3 years.

                           iii.               Only those candidates who have qualified in the Entrance test conducted by the Controller of Technical Education, Manipur shall be allowed admission to the first year of the BE Course.

                           iv.               Candidate who has passed the Diploma Course in Engineering conducted by Manipur University or a Board of Technical Education recognized by Manipur University with 60% marks in aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the Third Semester i.e. in the Second Year of the four year course subject to availability of seats on the basis of merit at the Diploma level. For SC/ST candidates, 55% marks in the aggregate.

Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.

Students can enjoy Scholarships/Stipends from NEC, MOBC, Tribal Development Department, State Govt, etc. in accordance with merit and status.
