2. Health Education 20 Marks
  (a) Meaning, concept and definition  
  (b) Systems - skeleton, respiratory, cardiovascular system , digestive , reproduction and nervous system and muscular system  
  (c) Food and nutrition  

3. Scientific Foundation of Physical Education / Movement Education 15 Marks
  (a) Basic mechanics of movement - motion, gravity, work force,lever and equilibrium (excluding mathematical calculation)  
  (b) Development of movement, concepts and skills and stages of development of skills and stages of development of skills.  
  (c) Sex differences in exercise and training.  

4. Sports Theory 15 Marks
  (a) Basic rules and games of the followings Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Badminton, Table-Tennis, Thang-Ta, Kang and Kabaddi.  
  (b) Fundamental skills and technique of the above discipline.  
  (c) Yogic exercises and its importance.  

5.  Sports Sociology 10 Marks
  (a)  Nature and scope of sociology  
  (b) Sports as a game occurrence.  
  (c) Sports as a social institutionalised agency  

Class XII

  (c) Application of kinesiology and kinesiology in daily living
 
4. Health Education 12 Marks
  (a) Factors influencing health and family, school and community health  
  (b) Common diseases prevention and control.  
  (c) First-aid and safety education. First-aid of fracture. sprain, dislocation, suffocation, electric shocks, dog bite.

 
5. Corrective and Adopted Education 12 Marks
  (a)  Posture  
  (b) Harmful effects of drugs and preventive measures.  
  (c) Rehabilitation.
 
6. Recreation and Modern Trends in Sports 12 Marks
  (a) Meaning, importance of recreation  
  (b) Sports agencies (MOA, SAI, SAG, SGF, IOA, Scout and Guide)  
  (c)  Leaderships  

PRACTICAL

(For Class XI and XII )
30 Marks

1. Athletics (any two events) : one from track events, one from field events
2. Skill Demonstration-Performance test in team games (any two ) : Badmintion,Ball Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Cycling, Football, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho. Kho, Table-Tennis, Volleyball and Sepak Takraw.
3. Other Areas (any one of the following) : Gymnastics. Yogic Exercises, Wrestling, Mukna,Unarmed Combatives (Judo, Karate, Tyekwon-do, Kung-fu, Sharit-Sharak, Thang-Ta).
