No. Sectt/PHE/RWS/92-93/7 : In exercise of power conferred Under Section 11 of the Manipur Water Supply Act, 1992 and in suppression of all previous orders, in this regard, the Governor of Manipur is pleased to fix foll9owing revised Water Rates/tariff with immediate effect until further orders :

Naga River on the North, Imphal-Dimapur Road and from the Nitaipat Chithek Police Stand
(the gate of Raj Bhavan) up to Keishampat bridge on the East.
2. Unit-2 (Commercial & Residential area) :![]()
A. Areas to be included :-
(i) North AOC area bounded by the Naga river on the North Weat, Imphal River on the East, and Kangla and Kekrupat on the South
(ii) The Western side of the khuman Lampak Main Stadium Road from minuthong Bridge to Dinku Road on the North.
(iii) Lamlong Bazar and the surrounding areas extending to the both side of the Imphal Ukhrul Road to Chaithabi Leirak on the North both side of tinseed road to Kongpal road on the east both side of Ayangpali road to JN Hospital road on the south and the Western side of Ukhrul road to Imphal river on the west.
(iv) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of the Dinku Road from khongnang Ani Karak (Chingmeirong ) on the West to the Imphal River on the East.
(v) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of Imphal Dimapur Road from Khongnang Ani Karak on the South upto Khabam Lamkhai on the North.
(vi) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of hafiz -Hatta,New Chekon Road from Minuthong on the north to circular crossing poit near palace gate Bazar on the South.
(vii) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of Ayangpali Road from porompat crossing point on the South upto J.N.Hospital on the north and northern side of J.N. Hospital road upto A.A.A. Club on the East.
(viii) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of the Ngarian Road starting from circular crossing point near palace gate bazar on the North to Kongba Bazar including its trading & residential areas on the South East.
(xi) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of the road starting from circular crossing point near palace gate bazar on the West to Nambam Chithek on the East and thenflows upto crossing point near Anand Singh Higher Academy on the North and then to Ayangpali road on the East.
(x) Trading & Residential areas on both sides of theroad starting from Nambul River bridge near Keishamthong Kabui village on the Wast to AOC point on the East an then it continues on both side of the Indo-Myanmar Road to Singjamei bazar and its trading & residential areas and then it continues to both sides of Indo- myanmar Road upto M.U.Gate (Canchipur).
(xi) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of Heiranga-oithong Road from Singjamei Crossing Police Stand on the Heirangoithong Bazar and its trading areas on the South.
(xii) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of the Imphal Mayang Imphal road from Keishampat Junction on the north to Pishumthong on the south.
(xiii) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of the Tiddim Road from Keishampat Police Station Stand (Keishampat Junction) on the North to the end of Kwakeithel Bazar and its trading areas on the South and on both side of Tiddim road from Kwakeithel Bazar to ghari Lamkhai.
(xiv) Trading & Residentials areas on the Western side of the Imphal-Mayang Imphal Road from Keishampat Jungtion to Khwairamband bridge (Thong Nambolbi ).
(xv) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of the New Casher Road from Hump bridge on the East upto Patsoi Lamkhai AOC point including Tera Bazar and its surrounding areas on the West.
(xvi) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of Kangchup Road from Maharani Bridge on the East to Iroishemba hill on the West.
(xvii) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of the Naga Mapal Road from Maharanithong on the South to community Tank of Thangmeiband on the North.
(xviii) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides of the Thangmeiband Road from Thangmeiband Police Stand (Naga River / Thangal Bazar Road connecting Imphal Dimapur Road on the South to Khongnang Ani Karak (Chingmeirong ) via Lilasing Khongnangkhong on the East.
(Xix) Trading & Residentials areas on both sides ofNitainanda Road from the Nagamapal Road on the East to the Eastern gate of the RIMS on the West and from RIMS gate to Kangchup Road on the South.
(xx) Trading & Residential areas on both side of the Sanakeithel Road Watham Leirak on the North to the crossing point of RIMS Road on the West.

C. Explanation to the extension of the area from Road and Bazar sidea :
The extension of the area from the Bazar and Roadside for the areas described from II to XX under schedule Unit-2 shall be 200 (two hundred) feet. In case the extension of 200 ft.happens to cover partially or to leave-out a portion of a private land then the said land shall be treated as falling within the extension of 200 ft.
All the areas trading and residential except those specifically mentioned in commercial area under unit-1 and commercial and residential area under Unit-2,
Unit-4 : District Capitals / Towns :
A- Bishnupur District :
(i) Nambol Bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of Tiddim Road from the crossing point of Koireng road upto Khoriphaba crossing point i.e. crossing point of Tiddim Road and Nambol Hiyangthang Road i.e. Phadibi Road on the North and both sides of Tiddim Road from Nambol River to the Culvert on Wakching Iram on the South West Eastern side of Koireng Road from Tiddim Road to Bamol Loukut Chithek on the South and Western side of Tiddim Road fron Nambol Bridge to Koireng Road Crossing point.
(ii) Oinam Bazar and its surrounding and residential areas extending to both sides of Tiddim Road to the Culvert i.e. the Tiddim Road and Oinam Wangoi Road crossing piont on the North, Western side of Tiddim Road upto Irengbam Lamkhai on the South.
(iii) bishnupur Bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of Tiddim Road to the Tiddim Road and old Cachar Road crossing point on the North and both sides of Tiddim road to Thongjaorok bridge on the South.
(iv) Ningthoukhong Bazar and its surrounding trading and residential areas extending to both sides of Tiddim Road to the Loktal Hydro Electric Cannal Bridge on the North & both sides of Tiddim Road to Higher Secondary School on the South.
(v) Moirang Bazar and its surrounding trading and residential areas extending to both sides of Moirang Wangoo Road from the Culvert on the North to Moirang Collage Road crossing point on the South East and INA complex on the north West.
(vi) Kumbi Bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas.
(vii) Kwakta Bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas.
B. Imphal West District :
(viii) Lamshang Bazar and its surrounding trading and residential areas extending to both sides of Imphal Kangchup road to the Nitainanda Leirak on the East and bothsides of Kangchup road to Eastern bank of Nambul River on the West.
(ix) Sekmai Bazar and its trading & residentials areas extending to both sides of Imphal Dimapur road to Nilapadma Higher Secondary School on the South and both sides of Imphal Dimapur road to konjeng Leima (Umang Lairembi) on the North.
(x) Mayang Imphal bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of the Imphal Mayang Imphal road to the AIR Transmition point on the North,both side of the road to konchak on the South, Imphal River on the East and Anilongbi / IB Road on the West.
(xi) Samourou bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of Imphal Mayang Imphal road to Cinema Theatre on the North and both sides of the road Sumourou High School on the South.
(xii) Wangoi Bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of Imphal Mayang Imphal Road to Muslim Leirak on the north and both sides of the road to S.D.O. Office on the South.
(xiii) Yumnam Huidrom Bazar / Thongkhong Lakshmi Bazar and its surrounding trading / residential areas.
C- Imphal East district :
(xiv) Lamlai bazar and its trading and residential areas extending to both side of Imphal ukhrul road to Cinema theater on the West & both sides of the road to Napet pali lamkhai on the East.
D-Thoubal District :
(xv) Thoubal bazar and its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of Indo- Myanmar Road to the Thoubal College road crossing point on the north & both sides of the roads to Arong River Bridge on the South East.
(xvi) Khangabok bazar & its surrounding trading & residential areas.
(xvii) Wangjing - lamding Bazar & its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides Indo Myanmar road to Sikhong bridge on the north & both sides of the road to the Tentha Lamkhai on the South.
(xviii) Kakching Bazar & its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to the both sides of Kakching Wabagai Road to Khongman Awangbi on the East & both sides of the roads to cinema theatre on the West.
(xix) Sugnu Bazar & its surrounding trading & residential areas extending to both sides of Mayang Imphal - Sugnu road to Wapokpi on the north and both sides of the road to Sugnu Police station.
E - Explanation to the extention of the areas from the side and bazar areas. The extention of the areas from the road side shall be 200 ft. & so also the extention of the areas from the bazar shoping area shall be 200 ft. In case the extention of 200 ft. happens to cover partially or leves out a portion a private land / khas land, then the said land shall be treated as falling within the area of extension of 200ft.
Unit - 5 :
Residential areas in the Districts except those in Imphal Municipal areas :-
All the areas including all inhabitants / village localities in the Districts excepting those towns & bazar areas mentioned under Schedule - Unit-4.
